Tudo começa com a ida de Will Smith (Will Smith) para a casa dos tios ricos em Bel-Air, os Banks. Adolescente cool criado nas ruas de Philadelphia, Will vai agora viver no reino dos "betinhos", nomeadamente do seu primo Carlton (Alfonso Ribeiro) e prima Hilary (Karyn Parson). Com direito a mordomo (Geoffrey/Joseph Marcell) e tudo, Will vai demorar a habituar-se ao "estranho" estilo de vida dos Banks, mas a realidade é que, algum tempo depois, já não consegue passar sem ele. O tio Philip (James Avery) faz-lhe a vida negra, a prima Ashley (Tatyana Ali) torna-se a sua pequena fã e a tia Vivian (Janet Hubert-Whitten) ensina-lhe importantes lições.

Desta vez tirei do baú a segunda temporada de "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air"/"Príncipe de Bel-Air", ye! Dezasseis anos depois da sua estreia, esta série ainda me faz rir como poucas outras. É light, conta com Will Smith (Bad Boys, Men in Black) no principal papel e tem um genérico inesquecível. Will Smith é Will Smith, um jovem nascido e criado em West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, que vai viver com os tios ricos de Bel-Air porque a mãe ficou preocupada com o seu futuro quando o jovem se envolveu numa luta. O cool Will é, assim, obrigado a conviver com os primos betinhos e os tios granfinos... Peripécias hilariantes, garantido.
